New Beginnings

Hey Ya'll! It's getting harder & harder to sit down and take time to actually write for myself these days... Between managing multiple social media accounts, websites, and store fronts, by the end of the day I don't feel like I have much brain power left to write anything creative or interesting LOL Business has continued to THRIVE even through this global pandemic, and for that I am so thankful! Since the last time I wrote I've added not one but two new companies to my growing clientele. They're owned by the same person, yet they are two separate entities. One, a wholesale candle company called Rambling Caravan. And the other, an organic wellness studio & spa called Wyldflower Studio. The owner reached out after finding my website online and wanted to connect ASAP. She had purchased a brick & mortar store front in Virginia Beach, VA and was in the midst of demo & re-construction for Wyldflower Studio. She was in need of social media & website creation, as well as design help with the store & product photography (when the time came). As for her wholesale candle biz, she also needed photography, social media & website set up. Basically she was ready to hit the ground running with sharing her two new businesses with the virtual public.

We met at her store front & talked through her vision for the shop & everything she wanted to offer. She spoke of her love for travel & adventure. She's visited many parts of the world other's have not & experienced a variety of cultures. While living in Oregon she immersed herself in the art of herbal medicine, teas, essential oils, perfumes, and candle making. With her professional experience in the medical & nursing field and her education in plant-based healing properties, she considers herself an "herbalist".

Along with offering herbs, plants, oils, and perfumes in store, she had the great idea of incorporating a small spa & commercial kitchen into the space. Tucked away in the rear of the store will be an open kitchen for creating custom herbal teas. Customers can choose from a variety of herbs on the "herb wall" and have them blended fresh, right there in front of you. On the opposite side of the store will be a cozy little corner room for the in-house message therapist & luxurious spa-like bathroom (fit with a rain shower & GOLD claw foot tub!). Customers will be able to book appointments for different services like salt baths, charcoal soaks, facials, scrubs, and messages with their choice of custom blended products from fresh, all natural ingredients. And if that wasn't enough, the store also came with a darling little outdoor patio area, where she plans to hold events like craft markets, vendor fairs, and community workshops!

It goes without saying I was totally on board with helping her achieve her dream shop by offering my expertise! I dove right into the wholesale candle company website first, since she was ready to get her candles in local stores. You can check out the website HERE and make sure to follow along on facebook & instagram as well @ramblingcaravan. The candle company is focused on the travel and tourist gift industry, highlighting varies destinations around the world from her travels.

Wyldflower Studio won't be complete until mid to late summer. I'm getting ready to begin work on the website (so check back later for it's reveal), but you can keep up with us on facebook & instagram @wyldflowerstudio. In the meantime here are some fun photos of the space in full on construction mode!

I can't wait to share with you all the progress of the studio and it's grand opening (TBD)! I'll make sure to keep guys you updated (hopefully a little better than I have been ;P)

Happy Memorial Day weekend friends!

xoxo
